老境に為すべきは

懐かしむことではなく再解釈である。
そして
失望ではなく流れゆくことである。

Even after the hardening of the Chinese lantern, it remains moist.

a time when happiness arises from wisdom and reason.

What we must do in old age

is not to cling to nostalgia,

Not to despair,
